
Rebecca Morgan has a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Dance Performance from Towson University. After graduating, she performed with Rincones and Company, a professional modern company in the Washington, DC area. She has been teaching dance for fourteen years and her dances have won various overall awards at local dance competitions over the past seven years. This past year, she was awarded two choreography awards for her lyrical dance, “Back to the Start” at the Legacy Dance Championships and the Bravo National Dance Competition. In 2007, she also received the Diamond Choreography Award at the American Dance Awards for her tap dance, “The Jitterbug”. She has completed Grade One at the Dance Teacher’s Training School held in Buffalo, NY by Dance Masters of America. Miss Becky regularly attends conventions and training workshops to learn the latest styles and techniques. She is also a certified ZUMBA Fitness instructor. This summer she and some of the EDS faculty will be attending three conventions: DanceLife Conference in Arizona, Dance Teacher Conference in New York City, and Zumba certification in Pittsburgh, with the creator of Zumba himself, Beto. She is also a member of the National Dance Association and the American Alliance for Health, Physical Education, Recreation, and Dance. She is certified in adult, child, and infant CPR and first aid.
