Dress Code
Coming to class properly dressed is a part of the discipline associated with taking dance class. It is extremely important for a dancer to be able to move without the distractions of baggy clothing or loose hair. Please bring all shoes in a dance bag to class with you. Do not wear dance shoes outside! Label all shoes and bags with dancer's name. No sweatshirts can be worn during winter. Long sleeve leotards are available for purchase. No hoodies or shirts with pockets. Failure to wear required dance wear will result in the student being asked to sit out of class.
Little Movers: Lipstick Pink EDS Logo Dance Dress, pink tights, pink ballet shoes. Ballet skirt optional. Boys: White t-shirt, black shorts/pants, white socks. Black ballet shoes. Neat ponytail or bun.
Combo I and II: Girls: Lipstick Pink EDS Logo Dance Dress, pink tights, ballet skirt is optional. Pink ballet shoes and black BUCKLE STRAP tap shoes. Boys: White t-shirt, black shorts/pants, white socks. Black ballet shoes and black tap shoes. Neat ponytail or bun. NO TAP SHOES WITH RIBBONS TIES.
Stepping Stars Ballet: Girls: Arabian Blue EDS Logo Dance Dress or Leotard, pink tights, matching ballet skirt is optional. Pink LEATHER ballet shoes. Boys: White t-shirt, black shorts/pants, white socks. Black ballet shoes. Neat ponytail or bun.
Stepping Stars Tap and Jazz: Girls: Dance tank top, dance shorts, jazz pants, or capri pants. Leotard optional. NO t-shirts. Leather pull-on jazz shoe in Dark Tan for jazz. Black tap shoes for Tap. Ballet I-III: Royal Blue EDS Logo leotard and pink tights. Short Royal Blue ballet skirt optional. NO shirts, leggings, or shorts. Pink LEATHER OR CANVAS ballet shoes with elastics. Hair in a secure bun with hair pins and a hairnet. Boys: White t-shirt, black shorts/pants, white socks. Black ballet shoes.
